Masuk tahun 2012, dah bertahun-tahun aku belajar. Dari darjah 1 ( tadika tak masuk.Mak tak suruh ) sampai la sekarang. Insya-Allah, tahun ni akan grad dengan accounting degree. Insya-Allah. But after this, tak tau nak stay accounting or join other field. Rasa rugi jugak kalau tak fokus dalam bidang accounting.

Ramai yang cakap accounting ni course yang susah, beban, berat. Ya, agak berat, tapi rasanya semua course akan jadi berat kalau kita tak boleh follow. Apa-apa course sekalipun, kita mesti kena pulun, struggle, work hard and smart.

Accounting sebenarnya fun.Kita boleh apply, konsep accounting dalam daily life kita. Boleh belajar untuk letak life kita balance antara asset,equity and liability. konsep ni diajar Robert Kiyosaki in Poor Dad Rich Dad and also in Cashflow 101 game. 

Buku ni memang terbaik untuk semua. tak kira umur. Insya-Allah, kalau kita tau konsep accounting and cara nak apply dalam kehidupan, kita tak akan susah.

Minggu ni merupakan minggu ke-3 untuk semester akhir di UiTM ni. Bila dengar minggu ke-3, bolehlah dikategorikan sebagai minggu bersenang-lenang lagi. But in reality, minggu ke02 pun dah macam final examination week untuk kami last semester student. Kerja banyak and hari-hari we'll have works to do and things to present.

Accounting student selalunya lebih kepada calculation. Tapi untuk semester akhir ni, we have absolute theory subjects. Memang otak kena bergerak untuk menjawab soalan la. Otak kena jadi manager and director. Anyway, moga-moga semester ni akan ok and give benefits for all of us.

Minggu-mingu yang memenatkan

Sudah hampir tiga minggu tidak menulis. Terakhir pada Oktober yang lalu. Hilang arah hilang punca. Sangat sibuk dengan urusan hari-hari dari hal audit kerja sehinggalah bab makhluk halus jembalang tanah hantu raya. Mudahnya, apabila diri tiada berdamping dengan Pencipta, jalan lurus sentiasa berbelok-belok. Hantu raya? Bomoh pun ada membela.

Politik apa khabar sekarang? Hampir terlupa kepada politik semasa. Ialah, anak muda mana lah banyak ilmunya. Asyik facebook dan internet, mana nak cari masa membaca buku senaskah dua. Yang dibaca pun buku majalah hiburan. Ilmu kehidupan jauh ditinggalkan. Berbahas pun atas logik akal dan nafsu. Entah waras entah tidak. Berdebat? Hahaha..

Tertangguh jugak karangan kapitalis sambungan karangan yang dulu. Mungkin lain masa. Untuk mengarang, ilmu perlu ada. Maaf ya.

Ism-ism is a boring subject

I’ve been quite busy this few weeks with works and life. First time in my life auditing a real world company and it was very tough. It’s not the audit process that hard for me, but to understand the system that we use was really take my time. Forget about my works.

Last few weeks, the 2012 budget has been present in parliament. The moment it’s finished, the floodgate for comments and criticism is open. But, I will not talk about the budget. I’m not in the right position to critique and comment the budget. My knowledge is limited to my laziness. I’m going to talk about the ‘capitalism’.

Capitalism is about money. This ‘ism-ism’ thing is a boring subject to us. But it’s not for the subject of ‘money’, ’Dollars’, ’Ringgit Malaysia’ and etc. Almost every single aspect of our life has been infected by this ‘ism-ism’. Every pieces of human being has been affected by the capitalism. We have live in this system for a very long time. And the effect that we can see is now, everything that we do and done is about money, money and money. We have been the slave for money.

Today, I watched a documentary of Food Industries in US. It’s called Food Inc. by Robert Kenner. Either the fact is true or not, I don’t know. But the fact that they showed is really important for us. It makes me think a lot of questions.

Do we eat foods or is it a chemical thing?

Our foods are safe or not?

Where is the food come from?

Do we live in a good life? A healthy one?

…then I think, we are not. For me, foods out there are not healthy anymore. The capitalism has pushed the industries, not in term of food only, but the industries in the whole world, to works for money. The morality and health aspect has been push away too.

Anyway, u guys should watch that documentary. Find it, download it, and watch it. Here the detail, Wikipedia and the imdb. I will tell the story of capitalism in the boring way later. For now, take care and Goodnight .. 

Chris Gardner

How was your day? Thank you for spend some time to read my blog. I just finished watching video of a great speech by a great man called Chris Gardner. No doubt about it. He’s really a great man.

Who is Chris Gardner?

When I first see the cover or a poster (picture of Will Smith and his son) of a film called ‘the pursuit of happiness’, I thought it was a very slow film, full of drama in it ..i never knew about Chris Gardner and this all things until I ‘accidently’ watch this movie. That was in December 2010 ..It’s 2010! The movie was made in 2006. I’ve loss 4 years of my life not knowing such a great inspiring movie was made

-Start from that, I’ve never missed Will Smith film ..and John Travolta film ..Nicholas Cage film ……and Johnny Depp film-

Back to the main point here, who is Chris Gardner? Chris Gardner is now the CEO of his own stockbrokerage firm, Gardner Rich & Co. But before that, he is in struggling life with his son, Chris Jr. Live in a homeless situation, sleep where he can including a public toilet, airport, and subway. He also has to carry all his stuff to work, when he live in a place that was built to the homeless people by a church. If I’m going to list down his entire life here, it will be long. Really long ..you can refer here and here for more of the detail about him.

Why is he such a great man?

For me, Chris Gardner, has inspired us, to be what we want to be and never give up of whatever happened in your life. That’s it ..that is the greatest motivation he gives to us. Everyone has their own dream and ambition. We have to grab whatever opportunity that we had and really try hard for that ..never give up. He live in homeless situation for years, but at the end, he is a successful stock broker. He never went to a college or university but he can end up with millions and billions in his hand.

I’m quite sure that all of us has watch the movie. So here I put the video of him, giving the speech about his life. You have to listen. It’s really inspiring ..credit to the owner of the video

Usia blog ni dah nak masuk 2 bulan. page view pun baru 742. sangat rendah kalau nak dibandingkan dengan blog-blog lain. tapi tak pe, peringkat-peringkat bayi ni memang kena merangkak sikit-sikit, baru boleh bangun berjalan dan berlari. Characteristic pun tak tetap lagi.

walaupun umur blog ni dah sebulan lebih, tapi still aku tak dapat characteristic yang betul. landasan yang betul. dalam benda-benda yang simple pun tak dapat lagi. sesimple memilih bahasa dan tulisan. English ke BM. short-form ke long-long-full-full form. haish.. memandangkan English fail, BM pun tunggang-langgang, so aku pilih dua-dua.. 

*English banyak belajar dari Clint Eastwood, Nicholas Cage, Johnny Depp, John Travolta.. kadang dari Metallica. BM pulak baru belajar sikit-sikit dari A Samad Said.

What's wrong with Perodua Mi-vi

A Perodua Mi-vi ( yes-yes i know its Myvi ). What's wrong with it? I've never and never ever in my life, fall in love with Mi-vi. never ever..

I kept wondering the main reason,the primary reason that make me hate didn't like this car. First, the price. The price (from my view) is not-so-called-cheap. Starting from the first day of this Mi-vi life, i see no point at all for us to pay some RM50k for this 1.3 cutie-cutie car. i'm no good at cars,loan,quality and everything about cars, but for me, RM50k for this car is unacceptable. You can have another car with bigger engine,bigger space,more comfortable, for this price. But,it's not the main reason why i hate didn't like this car.

The ride? I just spend only 20 minutes of my life driving this car. and that's it. so, it make me disqualified from talking about the ride, quality, comfortable, suspension ..bla bla bla...i'm really no good at this. Obviously, it can't be the reason why i hate didn't like this car.

The car has its own pride,dignity. it being built like that. i can't blame him. leave it alone. let him live free. but ..i think can blame the driver.yes! blame the driver! 

First, i thought it just me that 'concern' with the Mi-Vi's driver, but when i have a conversation with friends, they also 'concern' about it. i don't know what's the problem with some mi-vi's driver. it's reckless, zero morality, driving like hell ...i don't know what word to use. this some Mi-vi's driver just don't know the law. I try to googled it, "myvi driver" ..and yes, the result produce quite a lot of content on the myvi driver aggressive attitude.

I'm not a good driver. That is the fact. But i know how to respect others in the road. It's simple, you need to know when is the right time to drive fast, when is the right time to drive slow. Don't do the so-called-zig-zag on the road (it's annoying). and you must know how to overtake someone. Everybody have their own problems, ego and everything, just keep it out of the driving. This is my view and i don't have a problem with the car (except on price). But i do have a problem with some Mi-vi's driver. They just aggressive on the road. 

I get it, yes! The main reason why i hate didn't like this car. It's the driver!

*Let's keep it simple here, when we are on the road, we just need to respect each other. that's it.

Johnny English Reborn + the 'Rolls'

Johnny English Reborn is one of the great-great-great-Great-GReat-GREat-GREAt-GREAT movie to watch! its really that great! memang berbaloi bayar untuk tengok movie macam ni. even terpaksa pergi 2-3 shopping complex  untuk dapatkan tiket, memang berbaloi. at the end of the movie, semua orang tepuk tangan bersorak

 95% daripada seluruh panggung yang tengok movie ni , mesti puas hati. Guaranteed! another 5% adalah kepada yang terpaksa ikut 'suami' atau 'isteri', tapi di dalam hati, tetap nak tengok cerita bunuh-bunuh, hantu-hantu, ganas-ganas. ini fakta

Rowan Atkinson is well known as car enthusiastic. I dont have the list of his car, but you can refer here. In this movie, he use the Rolls Royce Phantom. This car was built to be "The Ultimate Luxury Car for the 21st Century". Sadly,before they produce it, they decided to tone down the production engine. 

The engine was built to be a 9.0 V16 engine. according to Atkinson, 3 or 4 units of the engine was actually built and they stored it in some place. 

Can you imagine the torque and power of this Rolls? How many horses in there? ..plus, if its really exist as a production car, can you calculate how much the owner have to pay the Malaysian Road-tax?

Bagaimana menjimatkan petrol

Tips-tips penjimatan minyak adalah penting untuk kita semua. Tambah-tambah lagi sekarang ni, paling kurang 2 biji kereta untuk sebuah rumah. Walaupun tips-tips di bawah ni mungkin hanya mengurangkan penggunaan minyak 10-20% (maybe more or less), sekurang-kurangnya kita dapat juga menjimatkan petrol dan juga duit poket masing-masing. Now let's look at top gear top tips!

Sebelum memulakan perjalanan :

1) Perancangan perjalanan perlulah bijak, cari jalan pintas dan elakkan kesesakan trafik atau pusingan yang jauh. Jauhi jalan yang berbukit atau berlopak-lopak

2) Angin tayar perlu sentiasa pada tahap tekanan yang disyorkan pada model kereta dan jenis tayar yang digunakan. Seminggu sekali periksa tekanan tayar. Penjagaan tayar yang baik memastikan cengkaman tayar yang sesuai dan pada jumlah jarak yang jauh nyata menjimatkan minyak


3) Kurangkan perjalanan jarak dekat. Kereta sesuai untuk perjalanan yang jauh. Jika tempat yang dituju boleh berjalan kaki atau berbasikal, adalah baik melakukannya. Banyak minyak boleh dijimatkan tetapi keselamatan penting jika jalan dilalui gelap, sunyi dan diragui keselamatannya adalah lebih baik bawa kereta
